The Todd Rundgren Individualist 2019 Spring Tour. The band featured Todd on guitar, Jesse Gress on guitar, Kasim Sulton on bass, Prairie Prince on drums, Greg Hawkes on keyboards, and Bobby Strickland on Saxophones and keyboards. This was an incredibly great career-spanning show, highlighting Todd's more personal songs and other gems. Just reading the setlist gives no clue as to the intensity of the performance of each song. A lot of energy and feeling was poured into each song, making the show a best performance of each song show as well. Todd's voice was amazingly strong, and his guitar playing was top notch. After playing his wonderful earlier material, the show really took off during Black Maria. Too Far gone was also a highlight, with the videos of Todd's travels showing in the back ground. I was stoked to hear Real Man then Love of the Common Man, Compassion, Couldn't I Just Tell You, then Fair Warning > Real Man to finish off the first set. Although the first set was similar to other first sets on the tour, the LA audience was treated to an LA unique second set featuring a run of Eastern Intrigue, Tiny Demons, Lost Horizon, and Buffalo Grass that had to be seen to be believed. So many memories provoked with each song, like hanging with Todd on Sunset Strip again. Here's the setlist:
